3 potential cut candidates who could be of interest to Dallas Cowboys

There are some potential roster cuts around the NFL that the Cowboys should pay mind to.

With training camp underway around the league and roster cuts coming up fast, we decided to take a look around the NFL to determine potential roster cuts the Dallas Cowboys could be interested in. Whether it was due to financial reasons, scheme fit, or a crowded depth chart the players we've listed below are the potential cut candidates who could make sense for the Cowboys.

DT Zachh Pickens, Chicago Bears

Pickens, the 64th overall pick in the third round in 2023, already has a link to Dallas through Matt Eberflus, then the Bears head coach and now the Cowboys defensive coordinator. He hasn't quite lived up to expectations in his two seasons in Chicago and faces an uphill battle to make it through roster cuts this year. He only managed 1.5 QB sacks in two years and Chicago currently has a logjam at DT with Grady Jarrett, Shemar Turner, Andrew Billings, and Garvon Dexter. Because of that, he could be cut before his rookie contract expires.
