Dak Prescott is reportedly set to be ready for offseason workouts in April.
The Dallas Cowboys were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday afternoon, but that did not step them from playing hard early on against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a few hours later.
With the Cowboys leading by 10, the NBC broadcast took a moment to talk about one of the people not playing, quarterback Dak Prescott. Dak was shown while Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth discussed how much time he has missed and then they threw to sideline reporter Melissa Stark who shared what she had spoken to Prescott about before the game.
Stark noted that Prescott said he recently got off of his crutches and will begin running in about a month. It was specifically noted that Prescott is on track to be ready for offseason workouts in April.
