Do you think you have any idea of who the Cowboys are in 2024?
The Cowboys answered one question last week; they’re still better than the New York Giants. We were starting to wonder after two ugly losses, but Dallas at least maintained some semblance of order with their 14th-straight win over the Giants with Dak Prescott at quarterback. Still, even in victory, the Cowboys left plenty for us to ponder.
It’d be one thing if Dallas had done to New York what they did in Week 1 to Cleveland, pulverizing a clearly inferior opponent. But the Cowboys left themselves vulnerable throughout the game, failing to finish drives and keeping the Giants alive right until the final minute. When the competition stiffens, as it should for most of the remaining season, it’s fair to question how successful Dallas will be.
