The Cowboys aren’t the only NFC East team facing a trade request from a star player.

Terry McLaurin is taking his desires for an extension to the next level.

McLaurin, who’s currently a training camp hold-in, is requesting a trade from the Washington Commanders as contract negotiations have stalled and there’s been no progress, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday.

There’s no guarantee general manager Adam Peters and the Commanders will oblige McLaurin’s request, but it’s a stern move from the veteran wide receiver, who’s clearly grown frustrated with the lack of a resolution.

The 29-year-old McLaurin is entering the final season of a three-year deal with $15.5 million in base salary due and just $2.8 million in guaranteed money.
