BREAKING: Micah Parsons requests trade from Dallas Cowboys, says no longer wants to be on team

Micah Parsons has requested a trade from the Dallas Cowboys.

Micah Parsons has officially requested a trade from the Dallas Cowboys. He announced so in a statement on social media on Friday afternoon.

This news from Parsons came just a few hours after a report from The Athletic noted he was considering requesting a trade and/or severing himself from the team. Clearly that report proved to be accurate.

Parsons detailed the back and forth of his negotiations in this entire statement and concluded by saying that his trade request was handed to Stephen Jones personally. He was adamant in his statement that he does not want any kind of negotiating to be done without his agent and reinforced that the Cowboys have yet to contact him (the agent in question).
