The Cowboys made a draft day trade with the Arizona Cardinals.

About five minutes after selecting Texas running back Jaydon Blue in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys decided that they did not want to wait much longer.

Dallas executed a trade with the Arizona Cardinals for pick 152 (Blue went at 149). In exchange for the selection the Cowboys gave up picks 174 and 211.
