Recently released Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Parker Ehinger is now a member of the Jaguars.
Jacksonville claimed Ehinger off waivers, the team announced this week.
The 6-foot-6, 310 pound lineman was waived by the Cowboys on April 11 after a brief stint with the team. Dallas acquired Ehinger from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for cornerback Charvarius Ward on Aug. 20, 2018.
The trade didn't work out in the Cowboys' favor.
Ehinger suffered a knee injury and was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 7. He never suited up for the Cowboys last regular season. While over in Kansas City, Ward played in 13 games (two starts) and contributed 30 tackles in 2018.
The Jaguars are hopeful Ehinger can add depth to their offensive line. The fourth-year lineman has played in six total NFL games.
