Three years into his professional career, Ezekiel Elliott has proven he is nothing short of one of the best running backs in the NFL.
And the man who ranks sixth on the NFL's all-time rushing list not only agrees, but thinks Elliott deserves the right to get paid like it.
"Zeke has earned a new contract," NFL Network's LaDainian Tomlinson recently told Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
"To be quite honest with you, he's done it the right way. He hasn't been in trouble other than that one time. So I think he deserves a new contract and he deserves to be paid as one of the top players in the National Football League."
On another NFC contender, Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley signed a four-year, $60 million extension last summer, after his third NFL season.
SportsDay's Kate Hairopoulos recently dove into not only Elliott's upcoming contract situation, but other major Cowboys contracts for this offseason and beyond.
