The Super Bowl has come and gone, and the NFL season has come to an end.
But can you ever really say that about "football" season?
Over the weekend, the Alliance of American Football debuted across the country (with a few jaw-dropping moments).
And for some diehard Dallas Cowboys fans, familiar faces can be seen around the league both on the field and in the front office.
Here's a look at some notable former Cowboys in the AAF:
Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego Fleet
Escobar spent four seasons in Dallas from 2013-16 after being selected in the second round of the NFL draft.
In 64 games played, he caught 30 passes for 333 yards and eight touchdowns.
Without a catch in the past two NFL seasons after stops in multiple cities, Escobar signed on with the AAF's San Diego Fleet.
Damontre Moore, DE, San Diego Fleet
Moore only played in three games as a Cowboy during the 2017 season, and the most notable moment of his stint in Dallas may only have been the timing of his release.
