Falcons jump in Forbes ranking of NFL's most valuable franchises

Forbes has released its annual list of the most valuable franchises in the National Football League, and once again, the top spot is held by the Dallas Cowboys, worth an estimated $5 billion. It marks the 12th consecutive year that the Cowboys have been ranked by Forbes as the most valuable franchise in the league. The Atlanta Falcons, meanwhile, owned by billionaire The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) co-founder Arthur Blank, saw their valuation increase 5 percent between the 2016 and 2017 seasons, according to Forbes.
