49ers CB Sherman to miss preseason opener

Richard Sherman will miss the San Francisco 49ers preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys because of a hamstring strain. Four-time Pro Bowler Sherman was released by the Seattle Seahawks in March and then signed a three-year $39.15million deal with San Francisco.
