In the NFL.com's recent ranking of the top 10 players taken out of the 2016 NFL Draft, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott made the list.
However, he placed third among QBs -- behind Philadelphia Eagles' Carson Wentz and the Los Angeles Rams' Jared Goff. Wentz was ranked No. 1 overall while Goff came in at No. 6.
Prescott placed eighth in analyst David Carr's rankings.
Here's what he had to say about Dak...
"Prescott's mental approach is good enough to be among the elite, but he still needs to work on bolstering his skill set and accuracy. He reminds me of a young Russell Wilson, who had to learn how to be a pocket passer and chop up defenses without running out of the pocket. The Dallas quarterback is more suited to beat opponents with his legs and on off-schedule plays, but that doesn't mean he won't get better from the pocket."
Running back Ezekiel Elliott was also ranked among the group and ahead of Prescott, coming in at No. 4.
