Former Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan didn't disappoint when he joined FS1's Undisputed show last week.
Ryan, who was known for providing some memorable quotes while with the Cowboys from 2011 to 2012, shared his thoughts on Dez Bryant's NFL future and some of the recent changes to Dallas' defense.
"Look, this was my next door neighbor in training camp," Ryan said of Bryant. "He's all football. This guy loves football. He is so passionate about it. I say he is the genuine article. He's a wild horse. That's what he is."
Then Ryan took a shot at a former Cowboys cornerback. Ryan never mentioned his name, but the story seems to be about Morris Claiborne, Dallas' first round pick in 2012. Claiborne is entering his second season with the New York Jets.
"Believe me, I made the mistake of putting a first-year corner on him the first day of practice and Dez Bryant punked him, knocked him down so bad he had a terrible career," Ryan said. "He's still playing but he's not any good and it's because Dez punked him. That was the beginning of the end. That was the dumbest thing I ever did.
