The Cowboys officially begin their offseason program today at The Star. Organized team activities are next (May 22-24, May 29-31, June 4-6) followed by mandatory minicamp (June 12-14).
While players have been working out at the facility the past few weeks, Monday marks the official start.
"A lot of excitement," Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said Saturday. "We've been going. I know it starts officially (Monday), but we've been at it for a minute for captains workouts. I've been there for almost two months now, so I'm excited.
"I'm excited to get the whole team in there. Hopefully every guy shows up for these optional workouts."
Here's what is allowed during the voluntary nine-week offseason program, according to Article 21 of the NFL-NFLPA collective bargaining agreement:
Phase One: In the first two weeks of the program, activities are limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation.
