What will a Week 10 loss mean for the Cowboys' coaching staff?

Kevin Sherrington, sports columnist for and The Dallas Morning News, answered your questions about the Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and local college sports recently. Here are the highlights from the Cowboys' portion.

Should Dez light up NFL with the Saints, will it say anything about Dallas and their offensive dysfunction - in particular, their QB and OC?

Sherrington: How about me? I'm already on record that if Dez looks really good in New Orleans, it should give Jerry Jones pause. Look, no one's saying Dak Prescott is as good as Drew Brees. Or Garrett/Linehan is as good as Sean Payton. If anyone's going to get the best out of Dez, it's going to be Brees and Payton. Also a very good situation for Dez is that he won't be the focal point of the passing game, just a complementary piece.

How in demand would Jason Garrett be as a head coach for another team if he were let go by the Cowboys?

Sherrington: Not like when Atlanta came after him, I'll tell you that. Can't imagine he'd walk into another head coaching position. He'd have to go back to being an offensive coordinator again. And this offense has hardly been a recommendation.
