Newy Scruggs, sports anchor at NBC5 in Dallas-Fort Worth (KXAS-TV) and radio host weekly from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on NBC Sports Radio Sirius XM 213/202 and NBCSportsRadio.com, answered questions during a live chat recently. Here are some of the highlights.

Scruggs: Jerry Jones will not get rid of Jason Garrett until he sees empty seats.

Scruggs: Switzer is a rookie and doesn't make a lot of money and he is their return guy so his job is pretty safe.

Beasley and Williams just signed deals and they are making under $5 million apiece.

Dez Bryant will be getting a call from the pay cut police so he is in danger when it comes to job security. He is slated to make the second most amount of money on the Cowboys in 2018. He is not their second best player.
