A year later, would Dallas take Jalen Ramsey over Ezekiel Elliott?

Matt Mosley, contributor to SportsDayDFW.com and columnist for Texas Monthly, answered your questions during a live chat recently. Here are some highlights.

Question: Can we revisit Ezekiel Elliott vs. Jalen Ramsey?? Zeke gets outplayed by a fifth-rounder out of UTEP on Sunday and the league's leading rusher is a third-rounder out of Toledo. Last year's second-leading rusher behind Zeke? Jordan Howard, a fifth-rounder. Meanwhile, Ramsey has become the league's best young corner ... think Dallas would like a redo?

Mosley: Noooo I don't think the Cowboys are looking for a do-over on that pick just yet. Zeke was a one-man wrecking crew in the fourth quarter vs the Packers. He nearly won that game for the Cowboys. And he was the best running back in the NFL last year...by a long shot. I don't think you start second-guessing that pick...unless the guy has to sit out the rest of the season because of his off-the-field issues. I need to take a peek at young Jalen Ramsey. I once championed his cause on the local air waves.

Question: Is it time to shut Jaylon Smith down? He can't play.
